The Multi-port boards support widely used, Windows and Linux operating systems and include 15,000 volt surge suppression. The Multi-32/LPCI can be attached to 8 ports expandable panel with DE-09 (DB-9) connectors which is available in two models, RS232 and RS422/RS485. These boards are ideal for POS, hospital, factory automation and building automation and many other applications.


Connector Panel:

  • The Multi-32/LPCI consists of a low profile communication card and connector panel with support for either RS232 or RS422/RS485. Each connector panel has DE-09S (DB-9 female) connectors to protect against the pins being electrically shorted. LEDs next to each connector provide visual communication status of the ports. It is constructed of aluminium and is suitable for industrial environments.

Slew-Rate Limit Control

  • The Multi-32/LPCI is equipped with Slew Rate Limit Control and when enabled, it minimizes EMI emissions which may cause data transmission errors. When Slew Rate is used maximum communication speed is 250Kbps. This function is recommended in many medical applications.
